Water Temperature On the UI is Reading Inaccurately (Evolve Pro Chiller)

Issue: The chiller is not actively chilling to the desired temperature and there’s over a 3 degree difference from what the temperature is reading and the actual temperature of the water. 

 

In order to solve this, you will need to perform an air purge. 

 

Air purge: 

  1. Take the decorative filter lid off.
  2. Slightly twist the filter cap clockwise until you hear air begin coming out of the cap. Note: If the cap is extremely tight, you can use the provided filter wrench to help loosen it.
  3. Once water begins bubbling, quickly turn the cap back counterclockwise to close the filter housing cap. Hand tighten the filter housing cap only, do not use the filter wrench.
  4. Wipe the excess water with a towel.

 

This should remove the trapped air. Wait about an hour to allow the Plunge to read the temperature of the water accurately.
