Step 1
- Prepare a flat, level, and stable (4’4” x 4’9”) surface to set up your sauna.
- Position the sauna floor (A) so that the “heater side” is on your right when you are facing the intended location.
Step 2
- Keep brackets on the door and carefully place the door on it’s side
- Attach door feet (B) and door header beam (C) to the door
Step 3
- Using two people carefully pick the door (D) up and place it against the front of the floor (A).
- There are pockets in the left and right side of the floor where the bolts will push through.
- Before pushing the door all the way in, find the door sensor wires at the bottom left of the door and make sure to connect them.
- Once the door sensor is connected push the door bolts all the way in and secure with the 2 half moon washers and 2 nuts with the provided socket wrench on each side.
/!\ Please be careful not to set the door on cement or drop it.
Step 4
- While someone holds the door up, secure the door with the included 45 degree brace (S) with two screws on the left side to brace it straight up. The door is heavy and will need to be braced before the other walls go in.
- Now using the rocks, stack them on the back of the floor to use as a counterweight, so the door doesn’t fall forward.
-
DO NOT open the door until the sauna is fully assembled. (!) Risk of tipping.
- You can now unscrew and remove the brackets on the side of the door.
Step 5
- The Huum Uku Controller (H) is located on the right outside of the door.
- Remove the black dial on the controller to see the two screws securing it.
- Unscrew both screws and remove the Huum Uku Controller (H).
- Please set both pieces to the side for later use.
Step 6
- Carefully lift the heater panel (E) and place it at a slight angle. You will need a slight gap for the wires to feed through the door post.
- Before settling it into the space, take the bundle of wires and feed it through the hole where the Huum Uku Controller (H) will be installed on the door.
Step 7
- Once the wires are fed all the way through, place the heater panel (E) into the groove in the floor (A).
- Have one person hold the panel stable and grab the right back post (G).
- Secure the right back post (G) to the back of the floor (A) using a half moon washer and nut with the socket wrench.
Step 8
- Grab the top heater panel beam (F)
- Secure it to the top of the heater panel (E) using a screw and flat washer with the socket wrench.
- Then the top angled lag screw and washer goes in to secure the heater panel (E) to the door on the top front.
- Do not over-tighten and strip the wood.
Step 9
- Slide the back panel (I) in carefully.
- Make sure it is seated completely in the groove in the floor (A) and the back right post (G).
Step 10
- Grab the back left post (K).
- Secure the back left post (K) to the back of the floor (A) using a half moon washer and nut with the socket wrench.
Step 11
- Use the drill to remove the 45 degree brace (S).
Step 12
- Grab the back top beam (J).
- Secure it using the lag bolt and flat washer with the socket wrench.
Step 13
- Place the left panel (L) in carefully.
- Please note: you will need two people to lift the panel up and into the section. It should fit in like a puzzle.
Step 14
- Find the top left beam (M) and using the 3 screws and flat washers, secure the beam to the top of the panel with the socket wrench.
Step 15
- Grab the roof (N) and slide it onto the top of the sauna from front to back.
- The roof has a panel on the bottom that should fit snugly into the top of the sauna to seal it.
- Take the roof fasteners (JJ) and secure the roof on the four corners and one screw in the center of the front and back.
Step 16
- Connect the wires from each panel where the benches will be placed.
- Grab the foot rest (O), holding it vertical, bring it into the sauna.
- Place the foot rest on the bottom slot and secure it with the bracket below.
- Bring in the top bench (P) and secure it above the foot rest (O) with the brackets.
Step 17
- Locate the knee guard (Q).
- Using 3 screws, secure the knee guard around the heater as pictured
- Please note: the right side screw will go in at about a 45 degree angle to secure the knee guard to the wall
