To keep your Plunge water safe and clean in a commercial environment, see below for a protocol we recommend. This is a protocol that we’ve seen work well for most situations. Please keep in mind that water chemistry can be different based on the quality of your water in your county. If you are on well water, please make sure you have the ability to properly reduce calcium levels before filling the tub. High amounts of calcium can damage the pump over time. These water maintenance instructions are meant to be used alongside the regular maintenance protocols for your Plunge. For more guidance, please email commercial-support@plunge.com.

Products needed: 

• Sirona Replenish (Chlorine) - Chlorine Shock/Oxidizer. Raises free and total chlorine depending on what contaminants are present in the water.
• Sirona Spa Up - Increases pH and Alkalinity
• Sirona Spa Down - Decrease pH and Alkalinity
• Sirona Clarifier - Coagulates organic material (sweat, deodorant, detergent, etc.) to filter out.
• Chlorine Test Strips - Measure free chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and total hardness.

First Steps:

(!) For best results, wait 15 minutes between adding each chemical.

(!) This protocol should be used after every drain and refill.

1. Fill the Plunge with fresh water
2. Use the Chlorine Test Strips to determine Alk and pH, then follow the instructions on the tables below. Always adjust for alkalinity first and then pH.
3. Add 2 Teaspoons of Sirona Replenish (Chlorine)

Daily:

(!) Maintenance frequency may increase based upon usage.

1. Test water chemistry with the test strips and adjust based on the following tables.
2. A water line may naturally accumulate over time. Wipe the water line with a sponge as needed.
3. Clean any hair and debris off of the drainer strainers.
4. For additional maintenance instructions please select the model you have:
   1. The Plunge Commercial (Gen 1)
   2. The Plunge All-In Commercial

We recommend adjusting and stabilizing Alk first and then pH.

Add a Tablespoon of Sirona Clarifier if you notice the water clarity reduce (Never add more than 1 TBSP per week)
