Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty

Reboot Labs, LLC (“Plunge”) warrants to the original owner that its Plunge Red Light panel (“Red Light”) will be free from defects in material and manufacturing for the period set out below under normal residential use and maintenance from the date of delivery. The Red Light is a standalone product that may also be used inside a Plunge Infrared Sauna; it ships with all accessories needed for either use (wall power components, sauna cord, and door-hanging hardware). This limited warranty is extended to the original owner only and is not transferable to subsequent owners.

Plunge provides a 3-year limited warranty on the Red Light. This is a parts-only warranty: Plunge does not cover labor or shipping costs.

Warranty Exclusions

• The LED bulbs, which are considered consumable parts and are not covered.
• Labor costs for repair, replacements, or reinstallation.
• Normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, failure to conduct routine maintenance as provided in the user manual, abuse, negligence, or improper use.
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect the performance or safety of the unit, such as scratches, stains, discoloration, chipping, or other surface damage.
• Failures caused by any external cause or act of God, including but not limited to, theft, vandalism, riot, war, fire, lightning, earthquake, flood, or other severe weather events.
• Gradual, normal decline in LED light output over the life of the product that does not constitute a defect.
• Costs of adjustments and normal preventive maintenance.
• Damage relating to failure to install or mount the Red Light in strict accordance with the user manual.
• Damage resulting from moisture or water ingress beyond the unit’s rated ingress protection, including installation in a steam or high-humidity environment for which the panel is not rated.
• Overnight freight or special shipping costs for replacement part(s).
• Any liability exceeding the original amount paid for the Red Light.

Voiding the Limited Warranty

The following actions will void this Limited Warranty:

• Use of third-party parts. Plunge will provide replacement parts for free during the warranty period.
• Failure to follow installation and mounting instructions.
• Modifications to the size, shape, materials, wiring, or light output of the Red Light.
• Repairs or attempted repairs to the panel, driver, or wiring conducted by someone who is not a licensed electrician or service provider.
• Operating the Red Light outside the temperature, humidity, or electrical conditions specified in the user manual.
• Not using the power supply or driver provided with the Red Light.

Returns

Because the Red Light is a personal-use light therapy device, once it has been unboxed it cannot be returned.

What we will do

At Plunge’s own discretion, Plunge will provide free replacement of any defective product or component that has been installed, used, and serviced normally, within the specified warranty period. Replacement parts may not be identical to the original ones. Plunge will provide new or refurbished parts at its own discretion. If replacement parts are not available, or if repair is not feasible, Plunge may choose to reimburse the purchase price or provide a replacement Red Light of equivalent functionality. Plunge will not pay for any costs relating to the dismantling, disconnecting, or disposal of a Red Light or any component. Plunge will not pay for the costs of mounting or installation of a replacement Red Light.

What you must do

To make a warranty claim for the Red Light, you need to contact the retailer or distributor from whom you purchased it, accompanied by the original sales receipt as proof of purchase and a written description with photos or video of the defect. If you purchased the Red Light directly from the Plunge website, you can reach out to us via mail or online. Please ensure to include your order number and purchase date while contacting us.

To obtain warranty service in the event of a defect covered by this Limited Warranty, reach out as soon as possible and use all reasonable means to protect the Red Light from further damage. Upon proof of purchase, a designated service representative will provide coverage subject to the terms and conditions contained in this Limited Warranty. There will be no charge for parts to repair the defect.

If proof of purchase is not available to establish the purchase date, the date of manufacturing as recorded by Plunge will start the product warranty period.

Disclaimer of Implied Warranties

This Limited Warranty is in lieu of all other expressed or implied warranties, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or use and any implied warranty of merchantability otherwise applicable to the Red Light. There are no warranties extended other than as provided herein. This limited warranty may be modified only by Plunge. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights from state to state.

Any implied warranties allowed by law shall be limited in duration to the terms of the express warranty provided herein. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Plunge’s only liability shall be the replacement or refund as stated above. Plunge shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential or indirect damages caused by defects in materials or workmanship, or any delay in repair or replacement of the defective part(s), including, without limitation, injury, loss of use, costs of disconnecting, dismantling, or disposing of a Red Light, or any damage to the location where the Red Light was installed, even if such damages are a direct result of Plunge’s negligence. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
