The Red Light therapy panel is a powerful add-on, but installation involves a few more steps than a typical accessory. Electrical and safety standards require the Red Light outlet to be located outside the sauna cabin, which means the power cord must be routed from the panel on the door, underneath the sauna, and back up through the rear cavity to the dedicated outlet. The process is straightforward once you see it in action.
Follow along with the installation video below for the full step-by-step walkthrough.
What to Expect
Here’s a brief overview of what the installation covers, so you know what you’re working with before you start:
- Mounting the Red Light panel hardware onto the glass door
- Routing the power cord from the door, down through the sauna floor, underneath the unit, and up through the rear cavity
- Connecting the cord to the outlet labeled “Red Light” in the back cavity
- Reinstalling the floor covers with the cord properly seated
Activating the Red Light Outlet
Once the panel is installed, the Red Light outlet requires a manual activation each time the sauna is powered on. This is a built-in safety requirement.
⚠ Important: To activate the Red Light outlet, with the sauna powered on, press and hold the Accent button and the Chromotherapy button simultaneously for 3 seconds. You should hear a beep from the panel confirming the outlet is active.
