Plunge IR Sauna Commercial Warranty

Limited Commercial Manufacturer’s Warranty

Reboot Labs, LLC (“Plunge”) warrants to the original commercial purchaser that its Plunge Infrared Sauna (“Sauna”), when installed and operated in a commercial setting, will be free from defects in material and manufacturing for the periods set out below from the date of delivery. This is a parts-only warranty: Plunge does not cover labor or shipping. It is extended to the original commercial purchaser only and is not transferable. Because commercial environments involve substantially higher usage, commercial coverage durations are 25% of Plunge’s residential terms.

  • 15 months – Cabinetry and infrared heaters
  • 6 months – Electronics (controls, audio)
  • 3 months – Glass and power supplies
  • Starts from date of delivery

Conditions of commercial coverage. This warranty applies only when all of the following are met. Failure to meet any of them voids coverage:

  • The Sauna is installed indoors in a climate-controlled commercial space. Outdoor or covered-patio placement is not permitted for commercial units and is not covered under any circumstances.
  • Installation is performed by a licensed contractor in accordance with the user manual and all applicable local codes, on a dedicated circuit of the specified amperage.
  • The operator follows the documented maintenance schedule in the user manual and retains a maintenance log. Plunge may request the maintenance log as a condition of any claim.
  • The Sauna is operated within its rated duty cycle and capacity. Damage from continuous operation, overloading, or use beyond the rated capacity is not covered.

Red-light towers are optional add-ons sold separately. They are not part of the Infrared Sauna and are covered under their own separate limited warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

  • Labor and shipping costs of any kind (this is a parts-only warranty), including reinstallation and overnight or special freight for replacement part(s).
  • Accelerated wear consistent with high-frequency, multi-user, or continuous commercial operation, including wear of benches, doors, hinges, latches, glass, and finishes.
  • Damage caused by assembly or installation, unless the Sauna was installed by a licensed contractor in accordance with the user manual. Plunge does not cover damage from unauthorized or improper installation.
  • Damage from outdoor placement, water exposure, overwatering, weather, humidity beyond the rated range, or moisture, including corrosion of hardware, latches, or fasteners.
  • Normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, failure to conduct routine maintenance as provided in the user manual, abuse, negligence, or improper use.
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect the performance or safety of the unit, such as scratches, stains, discoloration, chipping, or other surface damage.
  • Failures caused by any external cause or act of God, including but not limited to, theft, vandalism, riot, war, fire, lightning, earthquake, flood, tornado, hurricane, or other severe weather events.
  • Costs of adjustments and normal preventive maintenance.
  • Any liability exceeding the original amount paid for the Sauna.

Voiding the Limited Warranty

In addition to the conditions above, the following actions will void this Limited Warranty:

  • Use of third-party parts. Plunge will provide replacement parts for free during the warranty period.
  • Any outdoor placement of a commercial unit.
  • Installation or repair by anyone other than a licensed contractor or service provider.
  • Failure to place the Sauna on a flat solid surface, or failure to follow installation and assembly instructions.
  • Modifications to the size, shape, or materials of the Sauna; to the performance or output of the infrared heating elements; or to the thermometer, thermostat, or control unit.
  • Repairs or attempted repairs to the heating elements, control box, or wiring conducted by someone who is not a licensed electrician or service provider.
  • Covering, draping, or placing any material or item over the infrared emitters, or mounting or placing any accessory or item within 12 inches of an emitter.
  • Not having a dedicated circuit with amperage in accordance with the user manual.

What we will do

At Plunge’s own discretion, Plunge will provide free replacement parts for any defective product or component that has been installed, used, and serviced normally, within the specified warranty period. Replacement parts may not be identical to the original ones. Plunge will provide new or refurbished parts at its own discretion. This is a parts-only warranty; Plunge does not cover labor, shipping, dismantling, disconnecting, disposal, or the assembly or installation of replacement parts. If replacement parts are not available, or if repair is not feasible, Plunge may choose to reimburse the purchase price or provide a replacement Sauna of equivalent size and functionality.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
