Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty

Reboot Labs, LLC (“Plunge”) warrants to the original owner that its Plunge Sauna (“Sauna”) will be free from defects in material and manufacturing for the periods set out below under normal residential use and maintenance from the date of delivery. This limited warranty is extended to the original owner only and is not transferable to subsequent owners.

• 2 years - All components, including heater
• Starts from date of delivery 

Warranty Exclusions

• Labor costs for repair, replacements, or reinstallation.
• Normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, failure to conduct routine maintenance as provided in the user manual, abuse, negligence, or improper use.
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect the performance or safety of the unit, such as scratches, stains, discoloration, chipping, or other surface damage.
• Failures caused by any external cause or act of God, including but not limited to, theft, vandalism, riot, war, fire, lightning, earthquake, flood, tornado, or hurricane.
• Costs of adjustments and normal preventive maintenance.
• Warranty does not cover heating elements. They are considered as consumable parts.
• Damage relating to failure to assemble and install the Sauna in strict accordance with the user manual.
• Overnight freight or special shipping costs for replacement part(s).
• Any liability exceeding the original amount paid for the Sauna.

Voiding the Limited Warranty

The following actions will void this Limited Warranty:

• Use of third-party parts. Plunge will provide replacement parts for free during the warranty period.
• Failing to place the Sauna heater rocks in the heater following the directions in the manual.
• Failure to place the Sauna on a flat solid surface.
• Failure to follow installation and assembly instructions.
• Modifications to the size, shape, or materials for the Sauna.
• Modifications to the performance or output of the Sauna heater.
• Modifications to the thermometer or thermostat.
• Repairs or attempted repairs to the heater or wiring conducted by someone who is not a licensed electrician or service provider.
• Placing, pouring, or applying any material or substance on the Sauna heater rocks except for tap water.
• Mounting or placing any accessory or item above our within 12 inches of the heater
• Not having a dedicated circuit with amperage in accordance with your sauna’s user manual. 

What we will do

At Plunge’s own discretion, Plunge will provide free replacement of any defective product or component that has been installed, used, and serviced normally, within the specified warranty period. Replacement parts may not be identical to the original ones. Plunge will provide new or refurbished parts at its own discretion. If replacement parts are not available, or if repair is not feasible, Plunge may choose to reimburse the purchase price[BG2]  or provide a replacement Sauna of equivalent size and functionality[BG3] . Plunge will not pay for any costs relating to the dismantling, disconnecting, or disposal of a Sauna or any component. Plunge will not pay for the costs of assembly or installation of a replacement Sauna.[BG4] 

What you must do

To make a warranty claim for the Sauna, you need to contact the retailer or distributor from whom you purchased it, accompanied by the original sales receipt as proof of purchase and a written description with photos or video of the defect. If you purchased the Sauna directly from the Plunge website, you can reach out to us via mail or online. Please ensure to include your order number and purchase date while contacting us.

To obtain warranty service in the event of a defect covered by this Limited Warranty, reach out as soon as possible and use all reasonable means to protect the Sauna from further damage. Upon proof of purchase, a designated service representative will provide coverage subject to the terms and conditions contained in this Limited Warranty. There will be no charge for parts to repair the defect.

If proof of purchase is not available to establish the purchase date [nor is the equipment registered as suggested herein], the date of manufacturing as recorded by Plunge will start the product warranty period. 

Disclaimer or Implied Warranties

This Limited Warranty is in lieu of all other expressed or implied warranties, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or use and any implied warranty of merchantability otherwise applicable to the Sauna. There are no warranties extended other than as provided herein. This limited warranty may be modified only by Plunge. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights from state to state.

Any implied warranties allowed by law shall be limited in duration to the terms of the express warranty provided herein. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Plunge’s only liability shall be the replacement or refund as stated above. Plunge shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential or indirect damages caused by defects in materials or workmanship, or any delay in repair or replacement of the defective part(s), including, without limitation, injury, loss of use, costs of disconnecting, dismantling, or disposing of a Sauna, or any damage to the location where the Sauna was installed, even if such damages are a direct result of Plunge’s negligence. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
