Firmware updates keep your sauna running with the latest performance improvements and features. While updates can happen automatically when your sauna is connected to Wi-Fi during the setup process, you can also check for and apply updates manually at any time through the Plunge app.

Note: Your sauna must be connected to the Plunge app and online before you can check for updates. If you haven’t set that up yet, see the How to Connect Your Sauna to the Mobile App guide in the Help Center.

Checking for and Installing an Update

1. Open the Plunge app and navigate to the Products tab.
2. Select your sauna. Tap on your infrared sauna from the device list.
3. Open device settings. Scroll to the bottom of the device screen and tap the three dots (…). Select Product Settings from the menu.
4. Check for updates. Scroll down within Product Settings and tap Check for Firmware Updates.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions. If an update is available, the app will walk you through the installation process. Follow each step carefully and keep the app open until the update is complete.
6. Confirm the update. Once finished, the app will display a confirmation that your sauna’s firmware is up to date.

⚠ Important: Do not close the app, turn off your phone screen, or power off the sauna while a firmware update is in progress. Interrupting an update can cause issues that require additional troubleshooting to resolve. Keep your sauna powered on and your phone connected to Wi-Fi for the full duration of the update.
