An Engineering review begins after Support has every required input. This includes completed troubleshooting, a complete evidence package, address confirmation, and any required diagnostic payment.
What happens first
- Your Support agent reviews the evidence and identifies anything missing.
- Once the package is complete, the case is submitted for technical review.
- The Engineering target is 2 to 3 business days from that complete submission.
If the review takes longer, Plunge sends a daily status update until a decision or next step is available.
Possible outcomes
- One more safe troubleshooting step
- A replacement part
- A chiller replacement or return-and-repair option
- A technician repair
- No fault found based on the available evidence
- A paid option when the issue is not covered
How coverage is decided
Customer Service makes the final coverage decision using the product warranty, delivery and report dates, service history, electrical setup, maintenance history, water chemistry, freeze exposure, and whether the failed component is related to an earlier covered repair.
Your agent on the main ticket remains your named customer-facing owner, even when Engineering, Repairs, Warranty, or Customer Success is completing part of the work.
