For new cases using Plunge's selected-repair workflow, your Warranty team will send a reference estimate of the full Engineering recommendation. It is labeled Estimate—not a bill and contains no payment link. You can review it and use it in your claim. Your original recommendation remains available even if you choose less work.
If XCover approves specific parts or work, Warranty can document that itemized selection and explain what it omits. A known safety or technical conflict must be resolved before work proceeds. An unclear decision will be clarified before we ask you to pay.
IMPORTANT: A LIMITED REPAIR MAY NOT RESOLVE THE ENTIRE PROBLEM
Only the selected parts and work shown in your selected-repair estimate are included. Omitted work may leave symptoms unresolved. An unresolved symptom alone does not commit Plunge to provide omitted work free of charge. You may seek further review through your existing XCover claim or request a quote for additional work; further coverage or payment is not guaranteed.
This does not limit applicable coverage for parts Plunge repairs or replaces, Plunge's workmanship obligations, or your rights under law. If you reported an issue that Support overlooked, Plunge will cover that missed part and the technician return at no cost to you or XCover. A known item deliberately omitted from your selected repair is different from a reported issue Support overlooked.
Your selected estimate and payment
Warranty will show the selected work, omissions and total before providing a payment link. We preserve the original estimate and use one payable checkout for the selected repair. If the work or total shown at checkout differs, stop before paying and contact Warranty on your existing Support ticket. Paid, financed or started repairs need individual reconciliation before changes.
You may choose self-pay before XCover decides your claim. Bread Pay is available only where offered and approved. Neither self-pay nor financing guarantees reimbursement from XCover. Applicable lender terms govern financing. Warranty verifies payment before handing the selected work to Repairs.
During and after the repair
Support remains your overall point of coordination. Warranty handles claim, estimate, repair-choice and payment updates; Repairs handles repair execution and scheduling. A newly discovered fault that you had not previously reported needs a separate intake and coverage review. A continued symptom or a reported issue that was overlooked must be assessed on its own evidence; it is not automatically a new customer-funded repair.
Read the applicable warranty paths and repaired-component coverage together with the terms supplied with your order. This workflow does not introduce a new warranty period or change the terms of your XCover plan. Existing cases remain on their current process unless Plunge separately agrees to a change.
