Clean Out the Jets (Part 1)

  1. Turn off the Plunge by unplugging the chiller from the outlet.
  2. Close the colored ball valves on the auto doser injector manifold by turning them perpendicular to the piping.
  3. Uninstall the auto doser probe and place it in a cup of water. Be prepared for a cup of water to be released when removing the probe. It is handy to have a towel or cup available to catch the water. WARNING: The probe will need to stay in water the entire time it is uninstalled or it will fall out of calibration.
  4. Install the ¾” plug where the probe was installed.
  5. Turn the auto doser off by flipping the rocker switch on the left side down.
  6. Open the auto doser injector manifold ball valves by turning them parallel to the piping.
  7. As you face the LED Display, open the right side vent and locate the skimmer ball valve and turn it off by making sure it is perpendicular to the piping. For more details about the skimmer please go here
  8. Drain the tub following the draining instructions for your model
  9. Wipe the tub down with a household degreaser
  10. Rinse the tub out thoroughly (Not rinsing thoroughly can cause foaming)
  11. Fill the tub to two inches above the highest drain or jet.
  12. If you do not have a heater on your tub or the water supply is not above 60 degrees, add boiling water until it is warm to the touch.
  13. If your filter is less than 4 days old and there’s no visible dirt or debris you can use that filter.
    1. If your filter is a week old or has a lot of visible dirt and debris, please change the filter before continuing.
  14. Using the Sirona Jetline Cleaner, pour 1 cup into the water
  15. Turn the Plunge back on.
    1. WARNING: Make sure the skimmer is off with the ball valve perpendicular to the piping. Not doing so will cause air to get sucked into the system and damage the unit.
    2. WARNING: Make sure the colored ball valves on the auto doser injector manifold are both open and parallel to the piping. Not doing so will restrict flow and damage the unit.
  16. Set the temperature to 100 degrees (or highest possible temperature) to make sure the tub does not try and chill during this process.
  17. Run the tub for 15 minutes.
  18. Pause or turn off the chiller for an hour.
  19. Run again for another 15 minutes.
  20. Turn the plunge off by unplugging the unit
  21. Drain and thoroughly rinse out the tub.

Sanitize the Tub (Part 2)

  1. Fill the tub to two inches above the highest drain or jet.
  2. Turn the Plunge on and make sure jets are running and the auto doser is still off.
  3. Set the temperature to 100 degrees to make sure the tub does not try and chill during this process.
  4. Using the liquid chlorine, pour 1 TBSP into the water.
  5. Run the Plunge for 20 minutes.
  6. Once the tub has been running for 20 minutes, keep it running and begin filling it up all the way.
  7. Turn the tub off by unplugging it.
  8. Close the colored ball valves on the injector manifold.
  9. Uninstall the plug and reinstall the auto doser probe following the initial setup instructions.
  10. Open the colored ball valves on the injector manifold back up. WARNING: Not doing so before turning the Plunge back on will result in damage to the unit.
  11. Turn the Plunge back on by plugging it in and pressing reset.
  12. Turn the auto doser back on by flipping the rocker
  13. Follow all initial setup instructions

Once every step has been completed please follow the change filter instructions for your model to complete your Deep Clean.
