Objective

If you attempt to power on your sauna from the Plunge app and receive an error code, this may be due to the latest firmware update, which introduced a Remote Safety Feature for added security.

This feature is enabled by default, preventing remote control of your sauna. To restore remote functionality, you must disable the Remote Safety Feature on the HUUM UKU Controller.

Follow the steps below to complete this process.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Access the Main Menu

1. Press and hold the UKU Controller button for about 10 seconds.
2. The main menu will appear on the screen.

2. Navigate to Safety Settings

1. Scroll through the menu options.
2. Select Safety Settings.

3. Disable the Remote Safety Feature

1. Select Remote Start Safety from the Safety Settings menu.
2. Choose Disable to turn off the feature.
3. Accept the HUUM Legal Agreement and confirm your choice.

4. Verify the Change

✅ Once disabled, you should now be able to control your sauna remotely via the Plunge app without encountering an error.
