Heater Voltage Test for Sauna

This guide will walk you through the steps to perform a voltage test on your sauna. Follow these instructions closely, and be sure to take photos and write down each reading for submission to our support team.

 

Tools Needed

  • Philips Screwdriver
  • T25 Bit (Mini Model only, used for electrical box cover removal)
  • Multi-meter tool

 

Purpose

  • Measure Voltage: Check the sauna’s voltage while the heater is actively heating.
  • Troubleshoot: Determine if the issue is electrical, identify potential problem areas, and decide on the next steps.

Note: Document all readings by writing them down and taking photos. These will be submitted to our support team for review.

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Remove the Cover of the Electrical Box

  • XL & Standard Models:
    • Use a Philips screwdriver to remove the electrical box cover mounted to the outside of the heater panel.
  • Mini Model:
    • Use a T25 Bit to remove the electrical box cover mounted to the inside of the heater panel under the footrest.

2. Remove the HUUM Main Module Cover

  • The HUUM Main Module is the white box mounted inside of the electrical box. 
  • For all models, use a Philips screwdriver to remove the HUUM Main Module cover.

3. Run the Multi-meter Test

Important:

  • The sauna heater must be on and actively heating when performing this test.
  • The multi-meter must be set to AC 250V+. If set below 250V, a retest will be required.
  • Insert photo: Multi-meter set to AC 250V+.

Tip: Use the provided photo legend to accurately label the terminals during testing.

4. Submit the Test Results

  • Document Your Readings:
    • Take clear photos of the multi-meter display for each test.
    • Write down each reading accurately.
