This guide will help determine if an electrical issue is caused by the power cord of your Plunge Sauna. By performing this voltage test, you can confirm whether power is reaching your sauna correctly.

Important Reminder

Before you begin:
✅ You must record your test results

• Write down the voltage readings for each step.
• Take clear photos of the multimeter display showing each voltage reading.

✅ Make sure your multimeter is set correctly

• AC mode
• Voltage measurement
• Set voltage to ≥ 250V

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Set Up Your Multimeter

1. Turn on your multimeter and set it to:
   • AC mode
   • Voltage measurement
   • Voltage set to ≥ 250V

Step 2: Perform the Voltage Test

1. Identify the electrical ports

   • Refer to the power cord diagram for correct placement of the probes.
   • Use the provided reference image
   • Note: The ground port is the "L" shaped port.
   • 

2. Follow these measurement steps:

   • Ground & Neutral

     • Place the multimeter probes in the ground and neutral ports.
     • Record the voltage reading (write it down).
     • Take a photo of the multimeter display.
     • 

   • Neutral & L1

     • Place the multimeter probes in the Neutral and L1 ports.
     • Record the voltage reading (write it down).
     • Take a photo of the multimeter display.
     • 

   • Neutral & L2

     • Place the multimeter probes in the Neutral and L2 ports.
     • Record the voltage reading (write it down).
     • Take a photo of the multimeter display.
     • 

   • L1 & L2

     • Place the multimeter probes in the L1 and L2 ports.
     • Record the voltage reading (write it down).
     • Take a photo of the multimeter display.

Next Steps: Submitting Your Results

1. Create a support ticket

   • If you haven’t already, please submit a support request using our Contact Form.
   • Once your ticket is submitted, you will receive an email with instructions on how to upload your required photos and submit your test results.

2. Email your written voltage test results

   • After submitting a contact form reply to the support email with the following test results:

Voltage Test Results:

• Ground & Neutral = [Insert Voltage]
• Neutral & L1 = [Insert Voltage]
• Neutral & L2 = [Insert Voltage]
• L1 & L2 = [Insert Voltage]

Why This Is Important: These readings help determine if the power cord is functioning correctly or if there is an electrical issue preventing your sauna from operating as expected.
