If your UI panel is dark or unresponsive, start with a couple of quick checks before concluding the display needs to be replaced.
Please take photos or videos at each step of the troubleshooting process. If we need to order replacement parts, our Support team will use these to process your warranty claim.
Step 1: Confirm the Sauna Has Power
Using a ladder, check the roof control box for indicator lights. Both a white LED and a green LED should be illuminated when the sauna is powered on. If neither is lit, the issue is likely with the power supply or incoming power rather than the display — refer to the relevant Help Center articles before continuing.
If both LEDs are on but the display is still dark or unresponsive, move on to checking the connections.
Step 2: Check the Connections
- UI panel connection: Using a thin box cutter, flathead screwdriver, or similar tool, carefully insert the edge where the UI panel meets the tile enclosure and pry it forward until it releases. Flip it over and confirm the cable on the back is firmly plugged in.
- Control box connection: Using a ladder, go to the roof control box and find the port labeled “Control Panel.” Press the connector firmly into the port to make sure it is fully seated.
Tip: When prying the UI panel free, work from one edge and use slow, even pressure to avoid scratching the tile or cracking the plastic housing.
If both connections are solid and the display still does not respond after powering back on, the panel itself needs to be replaced. Contact Plunge Support to arrange a replacement before continuing.
