How to Troubleshoot the Speaker

If one or both speakers aren’t producing sound despite a successful Bluetooth connection, there are a few things to check before concluding a speaker needs to be replaced.

Please take photos or videos at each step of the troubleshooting process. If we need to order replacement parts, our Support team will use these to process your warranty claim.

Step 1: Check the Connections

Most audio issues come down to a loose connection rather than a failed speaker. Work through the following before anything else.

⚠ Important: Unplug the sauna before inspecting any wiring or connections.

  • Control box speaker port: Remove the white hinged roof topper panel and set it aside. Using a ladder, locate the speaker port on the control box and press the connector firmly to confirm it’s fully seated.
  • Speaker wiring: From the roof, locate the wires coming off each speaker. Each speaker has a positive and negative wire soldered to it. If you find any wires that appear to have come loose from the solder points, stop here and contact Plunge Support — this will need to be addressed before proceeding.
  • In-line connectors: Follow the speaker wires along the roof. They may be tucked under a white plastic wire channel cover — peel the cover back to trace the full run. Locate the connectors joining the speaker wires and confirm each one is firmly mated.

If all connections are solid and the speaker still isn’t working, it likely needs to be replaced. Contact Plunge Support to arrange a replacement before continuing.
