How to Connect to Bluetooth and Troubleshooting Connectivity

Your sauna has a built-in Bluetooth audio system. Connecting is quick — here’s how to pair and what to do if you run into any issues.

Pairing Your Device

  1. Power on the sauna.
  2. Open Bluetooth settings on your phone or device and scan for available devices.
  3. Find “SaunaAudio” in the list. Your sauna will appear as SaunaAudio followed by a unique 3-digit number (e.g., SaunaAudio123). Tap it to pair.
  4. Play music and confirm everything sounds good.

Tip: The unique number at the end of the device name is helpful in commercial settings where multiple saunas are running side by side — it lets you identify and connect to the right unit every time.

Troubleshooting

The sauna doesn’t appear in my Bluetooth list

Someone else may still be connected. The sauna is designed to hold a single Bluetooth connection at a time and will not appear as available while another device is paired to it. This is intentional — the system is built so that a previously connected device won’t automatically reconnect when it comes back into range, which is especially useful in commercial settings where you don’t want random phones pairing as people walk by. Ask anyone nearby to disconnect, or power-cycle the sauna to reset the connection.

It connects but no sound plays

If your device pairs successfully but nothing comes through the speakers, there may be an issue with the speakers or their connections. See the How to Replace a Speaker help article for troubleshooting steps.

Bluetooth isn’t working but everything else is fine

If the sauna is heating and operating normally but Bluetooth isn’t functioning at all, the issue may be with the Bluetooth antenna inside the control box. Contact Plunge Support — a control box replacement may be needed.
