Identify your chiller before using this list. Keep the filter installed. If a code returns after the approved step below, stop troubleshooting and contact Support.
Evolve Pro customer codes
- CF — Change Filter: cooling and heating stop because flow is restricted. Pause the unit, install a clean correctly seated filter, resume, and allow five minutes. Contact Support if CF returns.
- NF or FF — No Flow: heating and cooling stop because flow is too low or blocked. Confirm water level, install a clean filter, check visible hoses for kinks, and restart once. Do not run filterless. Contact Support if the code latches or returns.
- FA — Fan Fault: heating and cooling stop because the fan did not reach operating speed. Pause and restart once. Keep the vent clear. Contact Support if FA returns.
Evolve Standard codes
- E01: exhaust-temperature fault — stop and contact Support.
- E05: coil-temperature fault — stop and contact Support.
- E09: return-temperature fault — restart once; contact Support if it returns.
- E18: outlet-temperature fault — restart once; contact Support if it returns.
- E19: inlet-temperature fault — restart once; contact Support if it returns.
- E21: indoor-unit communication fault — power-cycle once; contact Support if it returns.
- E22: ambient-temperature fault — confirm the chiller is ventilated and shaded; contact Support if the code remains.
- P01: water-flow-switch fault — install a clean filter, confirm water level and open operating valves, then complete the Standard air purge.
- P02: high-voltage protection — stop using the chiller and contact Support or a licensed electrician.
- P06: low-pressure protection — stop using the chiller and contact Support.
- P11: high exhaust-temperature protection — stop using the chiller and contact Support.
- P15: inlet/outlet temperature-difference protection, commonly associated with lost water flow — complete filtered-flow checks and contact Support if it returns.
- P16: refrigeration-undercooling protection — stop and contact Support.
- P17: high- or low-ambient-temperature protection — restore safe ventilation and ambient conditions; contact Support if it remains.
- P23: protection involving outlet temperature or lost flow varies by revision — stop, confirm filtered flow, and contact Support before continued operation.
- P25: condenser-sensor temperature protection — stop and contact Support.
- P26: heating-water temperature too high — stop and contact Support.
- P27: cooling outer-coil overtemperature protection — stop and contact Support.
Diagnostic status readings such as R1–R6, HE1–HE4, Pr, and Sr are not customer fault codes.
