Evolve Standard and Pro chillers require a dedicated 20-amp circuit for reliable operation. Plug the chiller directly into the required outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
Stop immediately for a burning smell, hot or melted plug, arcing, buzzing, repeated instantaneous trips, water in an electrical compartment, or visible coolant.
If the chiller has no power
- Unplug it and inspect only the exterior cord and plug.
- Confirm the breaker is on and the circuit is not shared.
- Press RESET on the GFCI.
- Verify the outlet with a known-working small device or a licensed electrician.
- Reconnect the chiller directly.
If the circuit trips
- Unplug the chiller.
- Reset the breaker and GFCI once.
- Reconnect directly, without an extension cord.
- If it trips again, stop and contact Support.
Do not open the electrical box, remove an energized cover, bypass the GFCI, replace an internal fuse, or repeatedly reset a tripping circuit.
