Tubs Compatible With These Instructions:
- Plunge Evolve XL Pro
- Plunge Evolve XL Pro Commercial
- Plunge Air Pro
- Plunge Pop-Up Pro
Please note: These instructions are for the Gen 1 Evolve Pro Chiller. The side grille on the Gen 1 Evolve Pro Chiller does not come off, and there is no air filter behind it. The dust you see behind the grille is on the condenser. Please do not force or pry the grille. If you are not sure which chiller you have, please contact our support team with your order number.
What You Will Need:
- 4mm hex driver
- Vacuum with a bristle brush head
- A second person to help
Removing the Cover
- Pause your Evolve Pro Chiller by pressing the pause button on the display, then unplug it. Please make sure the chiller is paused before you unplug it. Powering down the chiller while it is in a cooling cycle can damage it.
- Disconnect the chiller from your tub. For steps, see Draining and Storing Your Chiller Like a Pro.
- Move the chiller to a flat and open location and tighten the filter lid. The Pro Chiller weighs 90 lbs, so please handle it with care. This is best done with two people.
- Lay the chiller on its back side (away from the display).
- Using the 4mm hex driver, remove the 10 marked bolts by turning them counterclockwise.
- Lift the chiller back onto its base by grabbing the lid of the filter housing and gently supporting the back. The cover is now loose, so do not use it to lift the chiller.
- Using the handles, gently lift the cover up 4-5 inches.
- Take note of which direction the display's ribbon cable is plugged in. It only goes back in one way.
- Reach into the cover through the filter housing hole at the top, and unplug the display by pushing the tabs holding the ribbon cable outward.
- Lift the cover off the chiller.
Cleaning the Condenser
- Vacuum the condenser using a bristle brush head.
- Make sure all lint, dust and dirt is cleared from the condenser to ensure proper air flow.
Reinstalling the Cover
- Lower the cover onto the chiller until you can reach the display connection, and plug the ribbon cable back in the same direction you noted.
- Lower the cover the rest of the way.
- Lay the chiller on its back side and reinstall the 10 bolts using the 4mm hex driver.
- Stand the chiller back up, reconnect it to your tub and plug it in.
