  • Updated

In this article we will discuss how to best clean the inlet drain strainers on the Plunge All-In and Plunge XL models.

On each tub there are two strainers located at the bottom of the tub and on the angled end. Cleaning them is best accomplished at the same time you are changing out the water.

Tubs Compatible With These Instructions:

  • Plunge All-In

Cleaning the Drain Strainers

  1. Turn off the Plunge by unplugging the power cord or pressing the “test” button.
  2. Drain the tub.
  3. Find the two small notches on each strainer and unscrew them.
  4. Clean the top and bottom thoroughly in a sink with bristle brush.
  5. Use a pin to help remove any debris that is stuck in the holes.
  6. Screw each strainer back on.
  7. Refill the tub.
  8. Turn the Plunge back on.
