Plunge All-In Error Codes

The Plunge All-In is equipped with error codes designed to protect the chiller in the event there's an obstruction or unsafe environment that could potentially cause damage. 

CF – Change Filter / Constricted Flow

  • Description: Flow is less than 14 LPM. This is a protective state, to prevent damage to the chiller due to low water flow.

Impact: The chiller will stop cooling. The UI flashes between “CF” and the actual temperature.

How to fix it - "CF" Error Code
 

OR – Out of Range

  • Description: Water temperature reading by Th1°F is out of range.

Impact: The chiller will stop cooling. The UI will flash between “OR” and the actual temperature. This is a protective state to prevent damage to the chiller due to temperatures being out of a safe range.

How to fix it - "OR" Error Code

 

FF – Flow Fatal

  • Description: No flow detected. Pressure transducer PT1 shows:
    • <4 psi (starved at inlet), or
    • 27 psi (blocked at outlet).

Impact: The chiller will stop cooling. The UI flashes between “FF” and the actual temperature.

How to fix it - "FF" Error Code

 

FA – Fan Error

  • Description: Fan RPM is too low (<350 RPM) when it should be at least 1000 RPM.

Impact: The chiller will stop cooling. The UI flashes between “FA” and the actual temperature.

CO – Coolant Range

  • Description: Coolant temperature (Th2°F) is out of expected range.

Impact: Unit will not cool. The UI flashes between “CO” and the actual temperature.

HE – Hot Electrical Box

  • Description: Electrical box is too hot (Th5°F > 150°F).

Impact: The chiller will stop cooling. The UI will flash between “HE” and the actual temperature.

HA – Hanna Error (Commercial Max)

  • Description: Error/fault detected on the Hanna auto doser controller.

Impact: Unit will still cool. The UI flashes between “HA” and the actual temperature
