If your Plunge All-In or Evolve Pro chiller is showing the error code “HE”, your unit is in a protective state to prevent any permanent damage to your Cold Plunge. It is the result of the unit’s electrical box reaching too high of a temperature (Th5°F>150F). 

How we prevent your unit from being damaged:

1. The UI will flash the HE error with the actual water temperature and will run the pump at half speed. 
2. The chiller will stop chilling and you will not be able to change the set point below 50° F.

How to resolve this issue:

1. Take a photo of the error code
2. Pause the unit
3. Once the jets have stopped, turn the unit off by pressing the test button on the GFCI Plug
4. Ensure the proper ventilation and spacing requirements are met based up on the user manual
5. If you own a Plunge All-In: Clean the side vents of any lint or debris that could be preventing proper air flow in
6. Once spacing and air flow is met, turn the unit back on
